X-Wing Revisited Red 5 by Hikaru84 X-Wing Revisited Red 5 by Hikaru84
This is the last weathering I have applied to my model. I still have to weather the underside of the fuselage and the underside of the upper wings.

Thanks Darin!

Have you started building your Fine Mold kits?
Here you have a link to a cool website that has great Star Wars reference material:

Your very welcome Rod!

Thank you so much for the link!! It's always nice to have a lot of good references to model with!

I'm still waiting on the purchase of the Fine Molds X-Wing, but in the meantime I just picked up at a local craft store a Revell "Snap-Tite" X-wing. The box doesn't give a scale size, but the stock number is 85-1856. I was surprised that when I opened up the box that it was all ready factory painted and quite nicely done at that! Even the canopy, Pilot, and R2 unit is very nicely done. Of course I will be adding some better paint to the engines and some other area's along with some weathering. I'll get some pictures soon and do a little build photo project on it. Any help and suggestions from you will always be welcome!

Thanks again my friend,

Darin

Hi Darin,

Yeah, some of the Revell Snap kits are really well don, the X-Wing is an example. I have one but have never had the time to build it. The detailing and shape are very precise in deed. The other Revell Sanp kit I recommend you is the Y-Wing, it is a very nice kit with a very good shape and tries to imitate every detail.
I built and painted one, I'll post some pics for you to see it.

IŽll be waiting for your build up gallery.
